Ana Gonzales bio
Ana Gonzalez de Jorgenson is an Mexican singer and musician born into a musical family. Her early years were shaped by the classical music of her parents, boleros as well as the more traditional romantic, ranchero, as well as romantic ballads. Ana is a lover of Tangos, opera, and all forms of dramatic performance. When she was a child, her mother would sing with her, she started more serious training in vocals at age 16 under the guidance by renowned Mexican Tenor FlavioBecerra. Music lessons continued throughout the School of Music of Guadalajara University. Then, she enrolled in The School of Sacred Music of Toluca. When she was a student, as well when she was a professional young at the time in Mexico City and Guadalajara she was a member of several chamber ensembles as well as choruses. After relocating into the United States in 2000, she sang with the Fort Lauderdale Symphony Chorus before making the move to her current home in southern California. She performs solo Latin American music for private events and also as part of Ensemble XXI in Redlands. Her love and passion in music, art and performing keeps her involved with many local organizations as a performer and teacher. Ana has also been an active member of the Community Chorus of Redlands as and members of the Inland Master Chorale and Performance Loft. Ana appreciates having the chance to share her passion and enthusiasm for old-fashioned Latin American songs with others and, in the process hopes to inspire a passion to, particularly in the younger age group in order to keep the music alive and alive.Viva Mexico!
